In recent years, composite silicate thermal insulation coatings have been recognized for building thermal insulation and have been widely used in practice. However, the coating still has defects caused by its own material structure, such as long drying cycle, large seasonal and climate influence on construction, poor impact resistance, large drying shrinkage, large moisture absorption rate, low bonding strength to walls, improper construction can easily cause large-scale hollowing and decoration needs to be further improved. Therefore, making full use of the technical advantages my country has achieved in this regard to further improve the comprehensive performance of composite silicate thermal insulation coatings is one of the future research focuses.
